Blake Schultz: Our Founder

In 1991, Blake Schultz started Mobile Link with nothing more than a good idea and a Volkswagen Golf. Blake was offered a position installing cellular telephones in vehicles as a private contractor for a new company in central Wisconsin called Cellular One. Blake took the opportunity and along with installing phones he began installing other 12-volt products as well, including car stereos, speakers and remote car starters. The VW Golf he started with was soon upgraded to a van, and Mobile Link launched a retail store in Blake’s garage.


After running the business for a couple of years from the garage, Blake decided to take the business to the next level. In 2000, Mobile Link opened a new location on 8th Street in Wisconsin Rapids with a showroom and two install bays. Since our founding, Mobile Link has maintained a great reputation with car dealerships and customers throughout central Wisconsin.
