Our Story

Founded in 1991, Mobile Link has been proudly serving Wisconsin Rapids, WI, and the surrounding Wood County area as the local expert in window tinting and vehicle accessories. What started as a humble venture with nothing more than a Volkswagen Golf and a passion for automotive innovation has grown into a trusted name in the region, known for quality, reliability, and exceptional service.

Blake Schultz, the founder of Mobile Link, began his journey by installing cellular phones in vehicles as a private contractor for Cellular One. His commitment to excellence and eye for opportunity quickly led him to expand into other 12-volt product installations, including car stereos, speakers, and remote car starters. From these modest beginnings, Blake transformed Mobile Link from operating out of his garage to a full-scale retail store and installation center. In 2000, the company took a significant step forward by opening a dedicated location on 8th Street in Wisconsin Rapids, featuring a welcoming showroom and two fully equipped install bays.

He greeted me at the door and had the issue fixed in 15 minutes. No charge. I specifically went to Mobile Link (a 45 mile drive) to avoid the usual poor service at the big box stores. Way to go Blake.
